LUDLOW — A one-car crash at around 4 a.m. Monday in the westbound lane of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Ludlow sent the driver to the hospital with minor injuries, according to a Massachusetts State Police trooper from the Charlton barracks.
The car crash happened about 2 miles east of the Ludlow Service Plaza. Police haven't released an official cause for the accident, which they described as a minor, "personal-injury crash."
The driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with non-life-threatening injuries after his car left the highway and struck a tree, police said. The driver was not cited and the incident didn't delay traffic, police said.
