NORTHAMPTON – A jury has been chosen in the boating homicide case of Steven B. Morse and is scheduled to begin hearing evidence on Tuesday.
Morse, 37, of Westfield is accused of killing 10-year-old Augustus Adamopoulos, of Ludlow, by running over him with his motor boat on Aug. 17 of 2010.
Adamopoulos was kayaking with his father on Lake Norwich in Huntington.
Jurors are expected to travel to Huntington Tuesday for a view of the accident scene.
Morse is charged with manslaughter, boat homicide by reckless operation, operating a boat under the influence of alcohol and child endangerment.
